Look I'm nothing but a hobby fanfiction writer but the thing is, sometimes writing just needs to go? It's probably the direction Apex is taking that led to scrapping a sequel to Broken Ghost. But let's hypothetically say, for two seconds, that it was the writers' choice.
Sometimes writing is just shitty? Sometimes it doesn't make sense. Or has too many plot holes or does the characters a disservice or doesn't fit well with what they have in line for lore in the future. Sometimes it's better to say "you know what? This shit sucks, let's approach
this from another angle." I get this sometimes when writing. It's like a little nagging voice in the back of my head that tells me to scrap it or write it this way or that way. And I usually listen to that voice. And often times that little voice is correct - a refresh is
exactly what the story needed. Now I'm not saying this was the case for Apex. I don't work at Respawn and have no idea what their plans are, but that's how I'm seeing it. Yes I'm BIG MAD that I won't be getting the BangaLORE that I was hoping for, but I'm trying to be optimistic
that whatever we do get, not just for her, but for the rest of the cast, is better than whatever that Broken Ghost sequel could have been. Sometimes as a writer you just have to take a step back to truly make a jump forward.
