No, and IMO a large percentage of people are constantly unhappy in life because they trade living in the moment & appreciating time for chasing a moving target that guarantees absolutely nothing. https://twitter.com/loveliana__/status/1312758961582505984
You think large chunks of your life was a “waste of time” because you ignored the point of living, which is experiencing the moment. You can’t appreciate your past because you spent all your time forcing a future you ultimately couldn’t even control.
All these checklists, rules, requirements, and tests...and for what? You’re not even capable of recognizing the lessons or even the good experiences you had because marriage was on your mind. 😕
Learn the difference between wasting time and experiencing life. Learn the difference between growing together and spinning wheels. You don’t need a timeline for everything. You only need to take in the moment.
