It's been an exciting couple of weeks since I started a new Product Manager role at @YouViewBusiness
My product management journey so far has been lots of fun so I thought I'd share my learning so far and the many amazing resources out there!

One of the first resources I came across were from @productschool who host so many great events (lots of free ones too)! https://productschool.com/product-management-events/
I've developed strong PM skills in my previous consulting role and I'm looking to strengthen these whilst also focussing on the Product Owner aspects of my role, this article by @lissijean was a great place to start with understanding the roles better. https://medium.com/@melissaperri/product-manager-vs-product-owner-57ff829aa74d
I generally digest information well when it's visual so this video by @henrikkniberg was awesome and really helped me to understand how I could practically get better in my role!
I then spent lots of time reading articles from the Silicon Valley Product Group, particularly those by @cagan which shared the types of teams a PM can find themselves working in and gave some really great stories of good product managers

I've been recommended some articles by @mikewcohn which taught me new PO learnings in areas such as how to be most effective for my team, managing and prioritising the product backlog, and much more!

I've still got some way to go on my product management journey and I'm really excited to see what's in store! I'd love to hear from you on your thoughts and/or recommendations.
I'll keep this thread updated as and when I have more to share
