Good morning #ScienceTwitter! As many know, there was a UNH professor that pretended to be a WOC in STEM with the handle @/piney_the... I don't have a large following so I need some help in getting this around ... a 
(1/n) First, I was one of the many people that was harassed - you may have saw a photo of mine floating around that the account took out of context and tried to get me in trouble by bringing the in the handles of my boss, the university I work at, and OSHA.
(2/n) However, I am just the tip of the iceberg. This person did so much harm to others - much worse than the attempt he made at me. You may have seen screen shots floating around or went to the account prior to it being shut down.
(3/n) Now, he is from UNH - my alma mater. The alma mater that to this day has a photo of me advertising science research in MCBS ( https://colsa.unh.edu/molecular-cellular-biomedical-sciences)... I'm not a no name undergrad from that university. I was an EPA GRO fellow who went w/ Mark Huddleston to the State Senate
(4/n) Presented my work work to the Board of Trustees as a sophomore and built many relationships overtime at UNH I still reach out to 7 years later. This included Dr. Miller who was my organic chem professor
(5/n) UNH was my home and the reason I went into academia. Craig Chapman does not deserve a place there. I reached out to Dr. Miller as soon as I found out and asked that there would be actual consequences ... Miller forwarded my email to the Affirmative Action and Equity Office
(6/n) But seeing the email from Dr. Miller to the faculty circulating on this site is... disheartening to say the least. I'm worried that Chapman will be protected & instead it will be the students left feeling unsafe. So I want to use any little reputation I have to do something
(7/n) Here's where I need the help- if you are a victim of Chapman & feel comfortable to do so, please dm me your contact information. I would like to hand a list to the Affirmative Action and Equity Office to make it clear this is not a matter that can be brushed under the rug

(9/n) Next is just simply media. @WMUR9 I'm looking at you --- this needs coverage. My home state and my alma mater are housing a hate spewing individual who will mar our reputation as an upstanding research institution. Get locals to notice! This is not OK!
I appreciate everyone's support and I hope that even though I am young in my career/don't have a lot of weight to my name yet, that I can try to push for justice.
