My favorite music albums // A thread :
1. Born Sinner : J. Cole
I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is the best era for cole for me as he didn't use very many trap beats and I'm not a trap guy. He told a lot of stories while riding the beats well, the production was top notch too, no complaints.

2. The Marshall Mathers LP
What can I say? It's a cult classic and had to be on the list from sheer impact of the album. Eminem's flow and cadence was unmatched back in the day and just by telling the grammies to go F themselves.

3. The Slim Shady LP/EP
If this isn't in your favorites, I'm afraid you don't actually like content. This was introduction to who we know and love as Eminem. He told his stories of being broke to getting hit with so much money out of nowhere. Another classic indeed.

4. Under Pressure
Yeah we know logic is corny and only white boys listen to him, no one cares.
His hunger and beat riding with 6's production was such a phenomenal combination and created some of the most memorable tracks ever.

5. G. O. A. T - Diljit Dosanjh
No way I'm making a list without my favorite artist not appearing on it. The production was f*cking incredible and lyrics are new yet still relatable to audience nowadays while being extremely catchy. A perfect album.

6. Victory Lap
Although calling Nip the pac of our generation might be an overstatement, he isn't far off. Coming from very humble beginnings, he rapped about his struggles and making it into the mainstream without any help from a mentor. Production again is, pretty nice on this.

7. All Eyez On Me
When Pac spoke, people listened. His voice and energy alone is captivating enough for people to hold their horses and listen to all the important issues he talked about from racism to mental health. Another fantastic album.

8. Ready to die
Don't think big needs an introduction, his flow and wordplay is still something even legends like Eminem take inspiration from and learn from. He might not be talking about issues that are important all the time, but the shock factor and rhyming is enough.
