I'm sure lots of people on your TL heard of him during this season- maybe some knew him a year ago. But our twitter timelines don't represent the world at large.

Also that tweet was part of a thread which gives it greater context and, I guess in closing, someone explaining how they see things does not necessarily equate with 'telling' others how to see it.
