You see, a handful of esoteric Human Rights lawyers had written a wish list called the Yogyakarta principles.

But they had no mandate. It was not legally binding.

Why did we defer to it? Why did we re-write the very basis of our society?
In addition, the very caselaw that gave birth to the GRA, both the Foy case & the Goodwin v UK case pertain to post-operative transsexuals.
The ECHR decision expressly refers to "post-operative transsexuals". So how did we end up here? Where any man, even a rapist can get a GNC?
...Even a male who tore off their social workers eyelids can get a GNC.
The GRA was brought in by stealth & although it may have been done naively, we are living with the consequences.
The people of Ireland were not consulted but we will be heard. #TheCountessDidntFightForthis
