can make them extremely sick! its very hard work to keep axolotl and they are very very endangered in the wild so please please be careful with this species and do not get it as a cute pet!!! it takes a loooot of work to care for them and they aren’t beginner friendly at all!

also i encourage you to read the replies and do proper research bc not everything in this thread is accurate! but please know that axolotls are NOT beginner friendly pets and can be very complicated to care for!
