all the men who are coded as attractive on this damn show and chasing after emily - all twelve or so of them - look semi-identical. & their flawless english language proficiency and willingness to stick to said language for her is one of the least credible things i’ve seen on tv.

julien is - clearly - under-utilised and it feels like they just used michel from gilmore girl as their blueprint.
