I've taken a much closer look at this video now - I no longer think it's an edit.

In looking frame-by-frame at the highest quality version I could find, there is no evidence of a morph.

I did wonder at first if the handheld motion was added in post to provide some cover for an edit, but I've checked and there is parallax between FG and BG elements which would not occur in artificial movement.

It's interesting to me that we so easily believe this video is even more faked than it actually is, because Trump so easily lies about everything.

But I'm not keen on calling out imagined lies when there are so many real ones.

Here's a video slowed down to about 1/20th with no motion interpolation, and scaled up by 300% with no spatial interpolation or smoothing.

There are no morph artifacts on areas of contrast, and fine detail like hairs on side of his head remain intact and move naturally.

Obviously Twitter's recompression will be taking a toll on that video, but that's what I observed first-hand in looking at the clip.

It's a weird moment and we're naturally suspicious... But it's probably just a suppressed cough or something.

And while I'm at it - here's the whole 4+ minute video sped up by 50x so you can see how much movement there is in the camera.

Removing any significant chunk and trying to close the gap would result in noticeable misalignment across the edit.

And one last point on this video - the compression is aggressive. There are a number of places where there is a jump in the image as a new MPEG4 I-Frame cycles. These happen every 3-seconds exactly... Here's a dump of that for the first minute, it continues exactly the same.

So I don't think this video is fake in any obvious way either - BUT it looks much more professionally shot than the previous one, which suggests at least one outside has be brought in to film a man with a confirmed Covid infection who's wearing NO MASK! https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1312864232711520257

And it looks like he's got his makeup on again... Does that mean they brought in a makeup artist for him too? Or does he do it himself?

And now he's being driven around?!
