I have been active on twitter for years & have seen men (& some women) endless victims blame women when they are victims of abuse by police or any man for that matter.
"What were you wearing"
"What were you doing there"
Hell when women were been arbitrarily arrested in Abuja...

..it was on this same Twitter people were rationalizing the arrests & rape. The women were "prostitutes", so their arrest & rape was justified.
Just last week, a patriarchy fc logo was designed, domain registered all in the name of "bants".
Even with all the gang rape cases,

...gender based violence & so much more that we see tweeted on here, men on this same twitter saw it as banter.
This empathy y'all are asking for, have you extended it?
And yes,women understand the menace that is SARS. We are victims too.
But that one no mean say we no go hold...
