Re: The Donald Trump situation. This is all stage managed to give the false impression that Donald Trump is still in charge, doing fine and recovering. https://twitter.com/jonostrower/status/1312616578773446656
In the UK we are familiar with this ruse, which was used when our Prime Minister Boris Johnson was ill with COVID-19. We were fed a similar series of lies, where is was still in charge when in self-quarantine, then in hospital for tests.
The lie of Johnson still being in control was revealed when under questioning the deputy PM admitted he'd had no contact with Johnson for several days, of course raising the question of how was he running the country if he was not even in contact with his deputy.
In the UK, this false narrative about Johnson only being in hospital for tests and him running the country, was contradicted when he was transferred to intensive care. There is still considerable confusion about how ill he actually was.
The situation as regards Donald Trump seems almost identical with the UK PM Boris Johnson, except Trump was admitted to hospital earlier. Almost certainly this was what you might call prophylactic i.e. to limit the course of disease and in case it took a turn for the worst.
It would be unusual as regards what is known about COVID-19 for Donald Trump to need hospitalization yet if as appears likely, he only started developing symptoms on Friday, as he attended a fundraiser on Thursday.
I'm not pretending to be any sort of medical expert, just an informed person going by the general published etiology and progress of COVID-19.
It would seem in general terms that like many similar viral respiratory illnesses the symptoms build up over a number of days and after a week or so, most seem to start to recover. Although there is some variability in this.
After this point where most start to recover, it seems that complications set in with some, and their condition appears to deteriorate. In fact some personal accounts of patients who developed complications, say they initially thought they were recovering.
Again, I am not attempting to give any sort of medical account or prognosis for Donald Trump, just to establish what the general pattern is, because we are being fed deliberate disinformation to mislead.
We are being fed a narrative, which appears to suggest that Donald Trump is in fact recovering. This seems somewhat at odds with the general pattern of this viral infection, where it would be expected the symptoms would carry on getting worse for quite a few more days.
In other words, in what seems to be a general COVID case, this recovery would not be expected until the end of this week just started i.e. Thursday/Friday at the earliest.
If Donald Trump has already had difficulties, needed oxygen etc, this would seem to be unusually early as most are only experiencing mild symptoms at this stage, regardless of how the illness progresses.
This raises several possibilities, such as Donald Trump might have been experiencing symptoms earlier than we've been told and this might be to excuse the fact he attended a fund raiser on Thursday, which would have been reckless if it was suspected he had COVID-19.
However, I am not trying to speculate too much on the actuality, just to highlight that what information we are being fed from official sources is contradictory, and inconsistent with both other information, and what we generally know about this disease.
Of course this information we are being fed is carefully filtered for reasons of both political stability and financial market stability. However, you would have suspend your usual critical faculties to not notice the serious inconsistencies and contradictions in the narrative.
My only reason for creating this thread is not to speculate on Donald Trump's actual condition, because almost certainly we will never know what it actually is or was until afterwards, but to state the rather obvious observation, that the official narrative is unbelievable.
It's not helpful for administrations to manipulate us like this, because it has the opposite effect to that desired. I can't understand why they simply aren't truthful in just saying he's been admitted to hospital for precautionary reasons.
As with Boris Johnson, the information that he had been transferred to intensive care, entirely contradicted the earlier narrative that he was running the UK from his hospital bed and was fine.
Far from reassuring everyone as intended, it just exposes that the administration has been lying to us and is untrustworthy, which simply results in inevitable speculation and makes it impossible to believe anything further we are told.
Really, it is far simpler to be honest. Being honest doesn't mean telling the public everything, it means not stupidly trying to deceive us, when most intelligent people will immediately spot the inconsistencies and contradictions.
