The first night of #31DaysOfHorror is Doctor Sleep. Decided to start with one rated highly.

Very good! It's not so much horror, as it is a family drama with horrific moments.

I see why it didn't do great in theaters, despite its quality. At 2 hours and 30 minutes in run time, it's a film that feels like it should've been a limited TV series.

Also, a follow-up with Abra, who was hard as hell, would be my jam.

So Day 4 for #31DaysOfHorror is from the bottom of the list: The Girl on the Third Floor, starring the former wrestler CM Punk.

So from the jump, it doesn't even make sense from a logical way. You bought this house and the first thing you find is a soft spot in the wall. You poke through it and it bleeds goo. As do the outlets.

Like, take out the haunted nature, this house is worse than a fixer upper.

It is also clear that CM Punk's character is the worst asshole ever. I assume he's supposed to be a former alcoholic, but he drinks. He has already cheated on his pregnant wife.

And his home renovation tactics are poor at best.

I cannot wait for him to die.

This lady is pregnant and she's just poking around holes in the house, no mask or gloves, and not washing her hands.

Again, not going into haunted stuff, it's an old house. What about asbestos? Nothing?

I need a modicum of characters not acting like a fucking dumbass, and this movie has consistently failed in all aspects.

This lady is pregnant and she has come home to find her house full of people, and is just... walking through it instead of staying outside and calling cops.
