I'm all for de-stigmatizing being fat, but I have an issue with "mainstream medicine is wrong" claims coming from *anyone.* Are there any fat positivity resources that take this into account and show how mainstream patient information messaging is changing?

Really asking.
Not asking for resources that claim to prove the mainstream is wrong piece by piece. I've read some and they seem plausible enough to this non-expert, but I feel irresponsible believing that unless mainstream messaging is also rapidly shifting to match.

Thank you.
This thread brought to you because I was re-reading the Fry Bread picture book yesterday, which has loving portrayals of fat people. The extensive author's notes in the back are more about fat acceptance than positivity, so I went looking at med reference sites I rely on at work.
