1. Mumbai Indians: Eversince Rohit Sharma took the captaincy, one unique change they had is still head at the helm, 9/10 times Rohit made right bowling changes, echoed with the owners, never thrown in negative vibes, yes MI lost in many seasons,but they won 4 IPLs because they

Believed that a strong Indian core is a must for a successful IPL team and look who they have got as their core: Rohit, Pandya Brothers, Bumrah, Pollard(O), Malinga(O).. that's 6 starting 11 players, in every auction they went into fill the remaining 5. No other team done that

2. Chennai Super Kings:
There is no CSK success without MS Dhoni... Even though my hero Rohit Sharma has more titles than MS, I think MS is the best IPL captain because CSK doesn't have a team like MI, yet they dominated IPL only because of the aura and the game MSD brings.

CSK will be done and dusted once Dhoni retires unless they go the MI way and bring in a young captain like Rohit and to supplement him bring in some established superstars and non capped dilettante who will be future superstars

3. Royal Challengers Bangalore:
They had Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, ABD once batting for them in top 4, many feel RCB was never a top IPL team, but the fact is they managed to reach 3 IPL finals, which only MI, CSK did.. This season they have a huge chance

Difference between Rohit, MSD and Virat Kohli is, Rohit, MS takes 15Cr, even though if they want they can take 17Cr, Virat takes 17Cr. Both MS and Rohit gave their franchises extra 2 Cr cushion in auctions which Virat doesn't give, only Virat can answer this..

4. Delhi Daredevil Capitals:
There are 2 chapters :
DD is utter disaster right from Auction table to selecting their captains, coaches. No harmony whatsoever, every season DD selects either 15Cr superstar who inevitably fails for them or 10Lakh non capped player who don't play

Delhi Capitals: Did a MI by selecting young Indian cool head in Shreyas Iyer and a erudite Ponting as a head coach.. Fire and Ice and the result finished 3rd last season, now among favourites to win.. Hope they make it all the way this season

5. Kolkata Knight Riders: Since 2012, most consistent alongside MI, CSK and one of the major reasons is @GautamGambhir , for me GG is the best captain India never had, astute cricketing brain, fierce, him along with Uthappa, Narine are the reasons for their 2012, 2014 triumphs

6. Hyderabad: Always great at the auction table, possess most likable players, Glad they won twice, remember the two times they won because of the strong overseas core they had, strange because every other successful IPL franchise won because of strong Indian core.

7. Rajasthan Royals: Because of one Pakistani they won the inaugural IPL, eversince that day they were below par at the auction table, never had a consistent marquee player in all the 13 IPLs.. see any other IPL team, there are 2 to 3 players that played for 10 to 12 seasons

But RR never had one, and tacitly that is one of the major reasons for their failures, poorest fan base too..

8. Kings 11 Punjab: If you ever wondered how hell looks like or how much bad luck effects anything just look at this team.. But for 2014, this team is a disaster at auction table, never thought of building a team, always went in with random strategies.. In 13 seasons, most flop
