Home is one of the loudest songs to have ever been released. it's timing of being released and the way it was dropped is a whole different story (i won't be getting into that) i will be sticking to the lyrics in this thread. *THIS IS A LARRIE THREAD*

this is the only time L uses a gendered pronoun in this song. after that it remains completely gender neutral. this "her" isn't someone he's in love with. iykyk.

he and his partner are feeling the same way. he's wandering if they'll be able to handle all the situation in life together. in the end, he knows they will. they are strong enough together. they are enough.

"you'll never feel like you're alone. I'll make this feel like home"

when he's with his person, he feels at home. he feels complete. everything changes with his person.

"still high with a little feeling, i see the smile as it starts to creep in. it was there, i saw it in your eyes"

this is the 2nd time he mentions eyes. with this person he sees the happiness, the love. they say the truth is in the eyes, the eyes are the windows to the soul.
