This is probably the wrong place to ask but has anyone tried curtailing internet/device use across their whole life to see how their mental health, perception, or behavior changed?
It's crazy to admit to myself but my use of this tech is probably 60-80% of my waking life. I grew up in front of screens, got my start in front of a TV. It only occurs to me after going camping that this *might not be a good thing to continue*.
I have to reread Against Waldenponding and Redux because there's more distinction to be made. I'm pretty bought into being online, I can't/won't uncommit from it. I just get the sense that I am frying my brain somehow. https://twitter.com/vgr/status/1125130797176856576
