Total weight gain between when I left vs. now: 22lbs
Posting this bc I& #39;m trying to be more okay with my body regardless of its size.

I& #39;d like to lose some weight & am back to exercising and eating well, but, some wins:
- Feeling calm about the scale number
- All of my clothes still fit except 1 pair of very unforgiving jeans
- The parts of my body that I like are still nice
- ppl still think I& #39;m cute

While losing a bit of extra weight is a goal, its because I& #39;m my most confident at a lower weight than I am now? But also, above a certain point my body get less comfortable to be in: I lose flexibility and gain back or knee pain, i.e.
I love the body positivity movement but I also think it doesn& #39;t have a great narrative around people wanting to lose weight unless it& #39;s about being healthy.
It& #39;s perfectly fine to be a bit vain, if that& #39;s what makes you happy and confident?

I& #39;ve spent so much of my life feeling less than happy about what I see in the mirror. I feel comfortable with it right now. So this thread is just a lil& #39; bit of social proof from me to me: you do you girl
