Hakeem’s legendary 1995 playoff run.

Thread:
Ok let’s get some context first going into this.

In 95’ the rockets finished as the 6th seed.

Why? They battled injuries.

Clyde and Thorpe (2nd and 3rd leading scorers) only played 34/35 games.

The 4th leading scorer was the goat @VernonMaxwell11 who only played 54 games.
So.. The rockets knew they had to face some tough teams to win.

Since they were the 6th seed... (lowest seed ever to win a chip)

Now let’s look at how Hakeem performed in that run.

Utah Jazz: 60 wins. (Lol)

So basically. Put some respect on the dream’s name.

The 2nd best player in the 90’s.

And I’m as a rockets fan, so proud to say I had Hakeem on my team.

and I hope 1 Day Harden could be just like Hakeem.

A champ for the city of Houston 🤩
Oh and also Thorpe was traded for Drexler that was my bad
