STAR WARS CHALLENGE- A Thread:
Favourite Trilogy: Prequels, the Prequels are my favourite trilogy because I geniunely just really love all 3 films in the trilogy which is something I can’t say for the other two. I grew up on them which may be a huge factor but for me they are the best films. In the best era.
Favourite Couple: Anakin and Padme, I just love them. The way they love eachother unconditionally is just beautiful and in my opinion their on screen chemistry is great.
Favourite character from the OT: Darth Vader, such a badass. Honestly such an incredible Villain. A menacing Villain with such an incredible story. Top 3 character in the saga.
Favourite character from the PT: Anakin Skywalker, ever since I was a kid i’ve just always loved Anakin. The stuff he went through and everything that happens to him is just painful but regardless of that he still managed to be an amazingly gifted Jedi. Amazing character.
Favourite character from the ST: Kylo Ren, i’ve always thought he was the most interesting character from the sequels. Adam Driver’s sensational acting probably helps but I just want to know more about Kylo. Great character, we need more Kylo.
Favourite Trio: Anakin, Ahsoka and Rex. Just a really cool trio and the focal point of The Clone Wars. We watch them all develop as a family together as the Clone Wars goes on. Amazing trio.
Favourite friendship: Anakin and Ahsoka. The relationship between a Padawan and their Master is beautiful. In this case, it is the best relationship in all of Star Wars. We constantly see how much these two care for each other and how they will never give up on the other.
Favourite Droid: R2-D2. For me this is so easy. He’s such an icon and has been a part of all 9 films. He can express any emotions with beeps and boops. Amazing character.
Who would be my Jedi Master: If he had lived, my ideal master if I was Jedi would be... Qui-Gon. He was one of the only Jedi in the prequel era that wasn’t interested in politics which eventually caused the fall of the Jedi.
Favourite Lightsaber colour: I’m going to choose from the colours shown in the films. From these colours I would choose purple. It’s just so damn cool. It also represents a balance between light and dark as Mace would use both in combat. Purple, Yellow and Blue are the best imo.
Light or Dark side: I would choose the light side. Not really much to say on this I’d just prefer to not be evil.
Overrated Character: Boba Fett, I never really understood the extreme love for Boba Fett. I guess he has cool armour but besides that he doesn’t really contribute much? Same applies to Phasma.
Underrated character: Padmé Amidala. A lot of people don’t see how much of an amazing character Padmé is. A lot of people just see her as Anakin’s love interest but she is just SO MUCH MORE. An amazing Queen, a powerful Senator, willing to fight and is overall very intelligent.
Favourite Ship: As there has already been fav couple, i’ll choose a ship that isn’t together. And for me it’s Finn and Rey. There chemistry in TFA was just amazing and the way you see how deeply they care about each other in TFA and TLJ is just so cute. I wish we got to see it.
Saddest Death: Padmé Amidala, this death scene HURTS every single time. The way she holds the jabor snippet, to the music, to the scenery overall this scene is just beautiful and is so emotional every time.
Favourite cast member: John Boyega. I don’t think there’s an actor who’s been in Star Wars who i’ve loved as much as John Boyega. He seems like such a fun guy who I’d honestly just love to be friends with. Also the way he fought for BLM was so powerful and I just admire that.
