Here's my "I decided to make my way through the movies mentioned in Greg Proops' book, watching one a day until I succeed and rereading the book to see if I missed any" thread.

Day 1: Casablanca. Second time I'm watching this one since the first time I couldn't get into it. This time, I liked it a lot better and ship Ilsa and Rick. At least they'll always have Paris. "Here's looking at you kid" is adorable. Anyways I give it 4/5 stars

Day 2: Lifeboat. Nothing like putting Americans, Brits & a German on a stranded lifeboat during WWII. Made for an interesting plot. Poor Gus. Connie is a queen. Sucks she lost all the stuff she had by the end. 4.5/5 stars. It'd get the full 5 if they were rescued at the end

Day 3: Igby Goes Down. Macaulay Culkin's brother did a great job as a teenage boy just trying to escape the old money he was born into, his mom, and mentally ill dad. His adventures were interesting 2 watch & the characters were quirky & fun. 4/5 stars, wonderful movie.

Day 4: Rushmore. Boy falls in love with teacher, teacher starts dating his much older friend. Things get wild. I didn't pay attention all that much, but Bill Murray was great to watch. 3.5/5 stars. I might've ranked it higher if I actually paid attention the whole time lol
