With the recent release of 21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s second collaborative project, I thought it would be interesting to rank every track on the project!

DISCLAIMER: Obviously I won’t be ranking the two spoken word tracks, but when I say Morgan Freeman was one of the best parts of this album, I mean it
#13: RIP Luv
RIP Luv is the slowest track on the album, and it’s all about 21 Savage struggling with past relationships, and how toxic they were. While this isn’t a bad track, it doesn’t interest me whatsoever or bring anything interesting to the table

In this track, Savage is thankful for everything he has, especially his family and friends. He talks about how his mom is living comfortably and how his friends were always there for him. I love the flow but the monotone delivery really brings it down for me

Savage expresses his hatred for those who are unloyal and untrustworthy, telling them he’ll retaliate violently. Nudy drops a feature but it’s nothing special, mostly like the rest of the song, nothing special to me

On My Dawg, Savage raps about various topics, including the infamous story about him being born in the UK, and his opinion on the clout chasing culture. The production is nice on this track and 21 comes through with some nice bars and a nice flow

#9: Rich N**** Shit (Feat. Young Thug)
This song is very interesting, it’s a very calm song, something you wouldn’t expect from 21. Thug and 21 team up to talk about the lavish lifestyle they live. The instrumental features some ethereal synths that sound amazing

#8: Glock In My Lap
This is where I believe every track begins to become amazing. This track is 21 spitting hard bars, over a hard beat. This best is a collaboration between Metro Boomin, Honorable C.N.O.T.E. and Southside, that sounds absolutely amazing, nothing to dislike here

I love this song because of 21’s fierce delivery. He sounds aggressive and potent. The beat is yet again another heater from Metro, which we’ve come to expect. Everything in this track sounds absolutely amazing

The opening track to Savage Mode 2, and there’s nothing more you could want from an intro. 21 comes on the track aggressive and hungry. He explains how all his enemies are scared of him, and how his mindset has changed. Metro compliments this with menacing production

This beat is grimy as fuck, and 21 CRUISES on it. He talks directly to his opps, telling them who he is, what he does, and what he’s about. This track is one of the best bangers on the album and it gets me more and more hyped with every listen

This song is so fun, it puts me in a good mood every time I listen. Drake and 21 trade bars about introducing their girls to the luxury lifestyle. The melodies are the standout moment of this track, 21 and Drake sound great, and smile every time I hear it

This track is so fucking hard it’s tough to describe it. 21 talks about going on a killing spree, leaving no opps behind. The beat is so dark and compliments 21’s dark lyrics. The percussion is so lively as well

The beat on this track is insane, Metro took influence from the 90’s West Coast scene and modernized it so well, he was really in his bag. 21 Talks about keeping his foot on the neck of his enemies, but the production is what makes this track amazing to me

This is easily the best song on the album to me, and one of my favorites of the year. 21 raps about how many scandalous things he’s done, like his killings and robberies. Metro was in his BAG when he made this beat, one of his best to date, everything is perfect
