On the issue of SARS in Lagos: This evening, after much agitation on Social media, I reached out to The Lagos State Police PUblic Relation officer, SP OluMuiywa Adejobi (MNIPR) on how the Lagos State Police COMMAND can curb the excesses of this Officers....

He said; "Yes..I have seen such cases as well. I want to strongly clarify certain issues here. We have officers and men of the Lagos state police command and "Lagos Police......

...We have many police outfits in Lagos who are not under our command and control in the state. However, the CP has mandated that any policemen engaged in barbaric, unprofessional, corrupt cases be apprehended..

.. And I encourage Lagosians to kindly identify the police and their units whenever they have encounter with them. And we take it up from there. Most of the cases leveled against the Lagos state police command are not connected to us at all....

..We have the Fed SARS, STS, IRT, FCID Alagbon, SFU ikoyi, zone 2 onikan, railway command, Marine and Mari9, airport command, Police college Ikeja, police medical unit, EOD, SPU, PMF, IGP monitoring, XSquad etc..

...All in Lagos.. some headed by AIG, CP and senior officers.. We want to know who and where any incident occurs we would act accordingly"
