The mind of a killer.
this going to be a little different, and i might get some flake for it, but i don& #39;t feel bad for Toga. I think that people tend to forget about this very fast or take characters for what they are not. Toga is a serial killer. she is a monster.
this going to be a little different, and i might get some flake for it, but i don& #39;t feel bad for Toga. I think that people tend to forget about this very fast or take characters for what they are not. Toga is a serial killer. she is a monster.
i might even add that she is one of the scariest characters in MHA and that she is irredeemable. what i am doing here is putting things into context and lay a foundation for what i am going to talk about next. She never showed any sign of remorse whenever she was shown doing -
- what she does. There is this interview with the very famous serial killer named Jeffrey Dahmer. where he sits and explains why he murdered his victims. i willnot enter into the details of what he did and how, but what i can say is that he shows no visible remorse for his -
actions. he acts like nothing is out of place. this brings us back to toga, who like i stated earlier, never really questions her deeds. she acts like a high school girl. she can have fun and talk normally. But that& #39;s the catch. that& #39;s why she is never caught. because she blends
in. And this is actually a genius part of her character. She leads people astray in the story but does or should i say, did the same for the reader. "she& #39;s cute". "she loves deku". "she loves ochaco". No she does not. Himiko toga uses "love" as a way to keep her sanity.
or a semblance of sanity at least. she lies to herself, to try and make her actions lighter on her consciousness, on her mind. Toga thinks of her victims as objects. she needs blood. she is attracted to it and clearly finds satisfaction in consuming it. and she thinks that it -
it is normal to do so. and this is where the dilemma but also the tragedy starts. is she normal ? well in my humble opinion, she is not. not only because her instincts go against the fundamental structure of the society of MHA, which is pretty much ours.
but before victimizing Toga and putting all the blame on the society in which she lives, we need look and think about the potential right actions and possible solutions her close environment could have taken to avoid what happened. she is attracted to blood. but it was shown -
that she is attracted to any type of blood. even animal one. this automatically shifts the blame on her parents. who just discarded her difference and pushed her to become a different person. because like i said in a previous thread, humans need comfort.
Toga& #39;s parents are the main culprits here. they created her just like Kotarou and AFO created tomura. they looked for the easy route : " act normal ", which she sadly did. because everyone wants to be loved by his parents. because she wanted comfort. so she hid behind a persona.
she hid behind a mask and tried to act like anyone but herself. until she broke. just like many serial killers. there is the breaking point. when the damage is done to the mind. the parents did the damage first because they decided not to help her. they chose
to fight immorality by even more immorality. they put her in the "quirk counseling program", which judging by the definition Aizawa , Deku and bakugo gave of quirks, basically means that it& #39;s a program where your monitored on how to use a physical part of your body.
and to do that for a child is just disgusting. i said that they wanted to fight immorality but that& #39;s just what they thought. why ? probably out of fear. the kid was killing animals drinking their blood. no matter how you look at it, it can only be a warning sign. so her parents
rushed and took the wrong choice. just many other parents apparently, since their are programs set up for people who don& #39;t conform to the norm. now here is where the tragedy really is. toga became the monster that she is today because she was born at the time and wrong place.
because she was born in a world that has already developed past any semblance of normalcy 100& #39;s of years ago. yet still tries to act like none of that happened. the world of MHA changed too fast. which inevitably led to it become more flawed than ever. Toga is a monster now.
but she was not at first. she became one. i find that the her story is indeed sad. but i still can& #39;t bring myself to feel bad for her seeing her as she is now.
