i actually don't want him to suffer and die, despite some of my gloating tweets/RTs, but it feels beneficial that he suffer. It feels like justice that has been missing for 4 years that our institutions couldn't provide. 2/

Going to prison ruins someone's life, but it provides justice for the victims. (Seeing aside the inequities of our prison system...). I've never been a crime victim, but maybe what people are feeling about Trump is similar to what they feel when a perpetrator is sentenced. 3/

There's relief, maybe happiness, that there's justice, even if it's at the expense of someone else's deserved punishment
