I've had a @fitbit Versa for about 18 months now and I can say with confidence that it was a bad purchase.
This "smartwatch" somehow made the simple experience of checking the time into something extremely frustrating.
Note that, when it finally lit up, it was in a secondary screen that does not show the time and requires a keypress to go back from.

Also, the temperature is almost always outdated. When I took the picture below it was 8°C outside...
The exercise tracking works fine, but not without its quirks. For example, I often got a notification that I just beat my daily step goal... right in the middle of a bike ride.
I tried reporting this bug, but my ticket was promptly closed with a "won't fix" label. And the closure cannot be contested.

As a developer, this infuriated me.
Lastly, the app notifications often get out of sync between the watch and the phone and I end up with a list of un-deletable notifications from weeks ago. "Clear all" does not clear anything.
In summary: I get no extra benefits from wearing this watch, at the expense of making the simple things, like checking the time, into frustrating ordeals.

That's a no for me, dawg. Imma go back to a dumb but reliable watch.
