I don’t believe in a set of “natural rights” that have been given to us by our creator. We have exactly as many rights as we can take for ourselves via collective power and it’s up to us to decide what they are.

If we do our jobs, individual liberties will bump up against the collective good eventually (or rather vice versa), at which point we’ll have to decide if we’re gonna let the capitalist class use their “liberties” to keep the rest of the world in chains
