Another thing Twitter taught me was how comfortable people are with children living in a state of lack because they’re convinced raising children isn’t expensive. 🥴😩😭 What is it take for you all to choose better? https://twitter.com/youknowitsnish/status/1312157938182619136

I would love for people to have a real conversation about quality of life because that’s the piece these “kids not expensive” people *always* ignore.

There’s living/surviving, and there’s thriving. Y’all kids don’t be thriving, and it’s (mostly) your fault bc you ignore it.
The conversation is never honest. We could absolutely talk about the inequities caused by capitalism, but first we need to clear up what it means to provide a childhood experience that allows your kid to THRIVE and explore.
