Friends that are vegetarian: I need help! I& #39;m trying to cut meat out of my diet, but due to IBS (sorry, TMI) I cannot have soy, beans, peas, or artichokes, which seem to be the major players for non-meat protein. I& #39;m cool with chic peas but they get boring. Any other suggestions?
Also can& #39;t do lentils, almonds, kale, cauliflower, specific additives like chicory root or carragageen, and any fake sugars . Stomachs are weird and unfair.
But, as I am a scientist, I kept a detailed food journal and did experiments on myself to figure out what causes flare-ups. I also did a allergy blood test which also helped figure out some weird ones.
