In Balrampur, a city from Uttar Pradesh (the same state), another dalit victim succumbed to another caste-based gangrape. Similar to the above, it denies any "substantial evidence that penetration occurred".

Just in the month of august, 6 similar cases of caste based rape-murders have been reported in the state. Terrifying.
I will not be naming the victims out of respect and privacy of the surviving family members.
