I’m just angry.

I couldn’t get tested. Was told there weren’t enough tests to go around and they were reserving them for people who were symptomatic.

Health care workers can’t get proper PPE.

The GOP denied us aid to force us to go back to work in unsafe conditions. https://twitter.com/reckless/status/1312256369148530688
Only last Sunday, I had unmasked Trump supporters laughing at us for taking precautions.

Everyone knows I’m super-political, which means they come to me with questions.

The number one question I’m getting?

Do you think Trump supporters will take the threat seriously now?
Since March, half this country has been living under lockdown, making sacrifices for the greater good and their personal safety, while Trump has been encouraging the other half to live it up.

It’s exhausting to keep making those sacrifices when others are undermining the work.
No, I don’t think Trump supporters will get it right away. Maybe over time. We need everyone on board if we’re ever going to have a chance of getting back to normal.

I keep thinking of those pics coming out of ACB’s announcement ceremony.

Everyone was so damn gleeful.
Covid was the last thing on their mind.

Trump, with his rallies and his brazen flaunting of precautions, had lulled them into a false sense of security.

It’s like the Maine murder wedding though.

I think eight people have died so far? None attended the wedding.
I’m worried about Biden.

I’m worried about White House employees and Congressional staff who won’t have access to Walter Reed.

The sheer recklessness of it all and we’ll still be out here, with no PPE, no testing, no financial help.
