it’s unrealistic for me to afford my own yard after “a year” if I want to get married young. I’d also want my wife to gel with my fam the first few years which IMO there’s nothing with. they brought me up and gave me the world and more so why would I abandon them? Same if they where elderly and sick, That’s dumb af.
I’m the only son so I’d say I am responsible for my parents when I’m older and wouldnt leave them in the lurk. Islamic wise if the parents were disabled and needed support to use washroom etc if the sons responsibility to provide the khidmat for the father and the daughter/wife
for the mother. It’s also morally right and ur stupid af if U even mention a care home for the people who gave u so much love and brought u into this world.

If my wife didn’t have any brothers or anyone to look after her parents I’d bring them in aswell I’m not inhumane.
Please remember the prophet (SAW) said “heaven lies at the feet of the mother”, “the father is the middle of gates to paradise, so keep to this gate or lose it”.
