"You look okay"

A person who is struggling with their #mentalhealth may look okay but that doesn't mean that they feel okay. /2
"Just think positive"

You can't automatically change the thinking of a person who is struggling with their #mentalhealth by saying "just think positive". /3
"You are attention-seeking" or "You are looking for attention"

People who are struggling with #mentalhealth are not looking for attention and are not desperate for attention; they are desperate for someone to listen to them and understand them. /4
"You are being lazy"

People who are struggling with their #mentalhealth are not "being lazy", they are finding it difficult to do things normally due to the extent of their struggles. /5
"It's all in your head" or "It's all in your mind"

Mental health problems can affect a person physically; it is not just all in their head and not just all in their mind. #mentalhealth /6
"There's no reason for you to struggle with your mental health"/"There's no reason for you to be depressed"/"There's no reason for you to be stressed"

You can't judge that there is no reason for their #mentalhealth struggles without listening to them. /7
"It's fine"

If a person is struggling with their #mentalhealth , it's not fine. /8
"You look well"

If a person looks physically well, that doesn't mean they are mentally well. #mentalhealth /9
"Others have it worse and are able to cope"

Everybody copes differently. Some people can cope with their #mentalhealth struggles and some people can't. Stop comparing struggles and the way people cope. /10
"You have everything"

Having everything does not make a person immune from #mentalhealth problems. /11
