This music of a thing is a business. You have to work with professionals in different fields of the music art to deliver a quality melody.

People that don't even know about it,talks shits and it shocks.

Davido understands the way it goes,he stayed outside Nigeria; so has mixed up with some musics icons now back then and did learnt how to run the business. So he came to Africa with the American hustling spirit.-Akon.

He loves the craft and he is done it perfectly.

More reason he supports almost everyone wether in his Label or not cause he sees it as a business that it is,so all he gat do is follow up the business and the chop I chop of a thing.

A-list Pop and Hip-hop recording artistes who have won Grammys used songwriters all the time..

I don't understand why you all dislike Davido so much. It's only those people who don't understand the music industry and business disrespect Davido’s hustle.

Songwriting is big time profession, look at how songwriters be thriving big time in overseas.

Over there, you are good at singing or not,songwriters will work will work with you. They are all about creativity, business, artistic delivery and professionalism but in Africa here it's a crime and sign of weakness once you use songwriters.

Legends and artistes we respect alot:

Michael Jackson
R. Kelly
Marvin
Drake
Rihanna
Beyonce
Cardi B
Gaye
Mariah
Carey etc.....all had songwriters.

It's actually dumb to think it's a sign of weakness or ineptitude once you acknowledge that you use songwriters...very dumb!

It’s not just about who wrote or who recorded before, it’s about the delivery. Give it to Davido,he murders any song. Just go and listen to remixes he is featured in, he is classic.

Music is a business,it's not a matter of havin a melodious voice/nice look,it's abt the contents.

Davido shouts and the shout is always a flow....he did it first,saw that it's good and he continued. That is the business.

You all hate Davido ooo but you bought data and watched the whole interview like 5 times.

..Davidos hits that is been accepted and Vibed to all over the world is Dami Duro, Davido wrote and produced the song all alone, when he was running from school to record, his father puts him in prison,he went all hard but what does he get from people?

You even hate him to the extend that you pray for his relationship to be a story.

You are using a songwriter, so therefore you are not good, talented,gifted, creative and all that.

People who think that way are not sharp at all. Singing and writing is entirely different. A singer must not have the ability to write and a writer must not be a singer. You must be talented to take what someone wrote and sing it into a hit!

Some Singers even write songs and realise their vocal delivery or style wont do the magic then they get another artist to sing it.

With the way people and haters are behaving,I don't think there will be someone so open like Davido again in the industry.

We need more people like Davido!
