Is it against the rules to say you wouldn& #39;t be sad? Hypothetically speaking, I think many people might end up being the opposite of sad if a certain person were to succumb to a certain disease. And I will neither confirm nor deny whether I share such a sentiment. https://twitter.com/TwitterComms/status/1312167835783708672">https://twitter.com/TwitterCo...
Also: I vividly remember one of my mutuals showing me a tweet of someone literally stating an intention to end the life of said mutual. Somehow it took Twitter more than a week to remove the tweet, despite many reports. I& #39;d hope such death threats have a higher priority.
Are we allowed to say whether we think a certain public official who yields a lot of power passing away could have a net positive on the world? Or should we keep such thoughts to ourselves too? I wish all the best to the world in these trying times.
Do these rules also apply to tweets about ISIS terrorists, or are we free to wish harm upon them as long as they are not members of the US government?
What about saying you hope someone gets the death penalty? Saying they& #39;d "deserve it"? Even for the most terrible persons imaginable, I do not and will never endorse the death penalty (it& #39;s an archaic, unjust punishment), but I often see tweets of such a nature.
Are we allowed to say people deserve the death penalty, as long as they& #39;re not so rich or powerful they can practically evade punishment for their crimes against humanity anyway? Again: I don& #39;t believe the death penalty has a place in a proper society, but I do wonder about this.
