I think this definitely means they’ll have more freedom to be themselves and be kind of normal with eo but I also think there’s gonna be limits to this too.
Ok so first of all, based on what I’ve seen I know some Taekookers will disagree but I don’t think Tae & JK have been loud, with a few exceptions that I’ll get into later, they just seem loud to us cuz its been so long since they were allowed to act normally with each other
But if you really think about it most of what we’ve seen of them lately is stuff we’ve seen them do in the past like their ILY handshake and them joking around and having fun together BH is just allowing us to see it again. What I think this’ll mean is that
We’ll see the occasional V and Jungkook BB, we may get a live or something prerecorded with them in a controlled setting like their Vlive in May except more relaxed, and editing in official content will be more friendly to them but I think that’s where it’s going to end
Unless there’s a more monumental shift coming in the future cuz I think they still have the same problem they’ve always had where Taekook is concerned and it’s that they have a level of intimacy with one another that looks different than it does with the others
So while Tae & JK are adults and much more mature now than before there’s still things they can’t control. their body language and some of their physical reactions to each other is what a lot us picked up on with them even if we didn’t realize it at first
So unfortunately I think that means we’ should lower our expectations. For me that means putting the idea of a TK subunit out of my mind cuz that’s a lvl of attention they don’t want on them but a unit photo shoot cld be possible.
Now on to The Soop cuz that’s where the new soft Taekook is coming from, but to me ITS is an aberration. Imo ITS exists cuz the pandemic happened which meant Bon Voyage couldn’t.
they’re stuck in a confined space where they have limited activities and all they can do is interact with eo so that makes it harder to cut TK out, so what I think what they’re doing is normalizing everything they do and not focusing or drawing attn to it
Cuz I think they know the majority of ppl watching ITS probs aren’t thinking like shippers so all of this is normal skinship to them.
Moving forward I think they’ll continue being the way they were in Sept. they’ll be more free outside of official cameras and on BH cameras they’ll be friendly like they are with everyone else but still a bit cautious about being too clingy.
This thread is getting long and I’m losing focus so I’ll end by giving a golf clap to BH cuz they convinced fans Tae and JK are friends again after convincing them they hated eo so they’re the big winner here.
Now it’s all out of my head and I can move on
I’m adding to this thread because I’ve changed my mind again about the TK subunit and I wanna be n record so I can celebrate when I’m right. So here’s my final opinion on the record: Taekook will have a subunit most likely on BE or maybe on KTH1 and/or on JJK1.
