Rebuilding the Grand Bhoja Temple, Bhopal
According to opindia & Jagran, central govt is going to rebuild Bhoj Temple
The news is not verified by other portals now so there can some confusion regarding this but if this is true then it will b the best news of 2020

If rebuilt completely, this will be the largest & the highest Hindu temple ever built. It will be higher than the Thanjavur Brihadeeswar, higher than what the Surya Temple at Khajuraho was.
Actually it was abandoned due to the the fear of the shikhara collapsing on

the garbha-griha due to its excessive weight. The keystone in such a grand shikhara would have to be very large and it would not have been able to hold the shikhara together.

But with modern techniques grander shikharas can be achieved, particularly when almost all

modern temples that are being built, are using many materials and not just stone. So when they are all 'sammishra', making this too sammishra won't hurt anything.

Let us complete the task left by King Bhoja. He had started this temple by defeating the Iz!@mic invader Ghaznavi

Let us symbolically complete the defeat of the mlechha by completing this temple and then let us reclaim this land of Sanatana Dharma.
If rebuilt, this will be one of the grandest of temples and I am not saying this just because of the scale.

The adhishthana of the temple is so high due to the river flooding nearby areas, that the platform on which the actual temple is built is so high it gives a massive feeling of vantage and a panoramic view of central Indian landscape. While in the garbha-griha it is Shiva.

Everywhere around it is the wide expanse of India. It is a grand sight indeed.

Let us pray to Shiva that he sees this project done.
