We thought on #BookshopDay that we would put together a virtual tour around our #bookshop, for those who haven't visited us before (or recently).

This is our front on Market St in #Southport, where the bookshop has been for a century now.

Step inside to our new adult books section on the ground floor, which we try to keep stocked with a wide range of books, from classics to unexpected treasures.

Oh, & a pretty amazing real fire, as well, which has kept many a book-lover warm on a cold day!

On the first floor we have a whole room dedicated to new children's books, where we try & introduce new generations to the joys & wonders of reading. This room sits alongside our rare books room, full of antiquarian collectables & other treasures.

For those with the legs to get there, the second floor houses the secondhand books, 4 rooms & a landing literally packed to the rafters with books.

Some things look a little different right now - but what hasn't changed is how much we love books, bookselling, & all our customers. A very happy #BookshopDay to you all!

And don't worry, some traditions never change - we still wrap books in brown paper & string
