Hmmm, that& #39;s not great.
I reviewed the guy& #39;s book a while ago, and remember thinking, OK, he& #39;s wrong about everything - but at least, he& #39;s honestly trying to come to terms with the legacy of his ideology. Unlike most of his comrades, he doesn& #39;t just lol-read-a-book it away. https://twitter.com/OzKaterji/status/1312168726733619200">https://twitter.com/OzKaterji...

Of course, some things were always a bit off. In his book, he describes a socialist revolution in a near-future America. After that revolution, those who still believe in capitalism simply give up, and accept that they& #39;ve lost.
That& #39;s it. No Gulags needed.
Bit too easy...

Nor does he explain how the collectivisation process works, after his fictitious revolution.
One day, all companies are just somehow collectively owned. Just like that. Private property has somehow ceased to exist.
Again, a bit too easy.

He& #39;s also oddly fond of the early Bolsheviks. He& #39;s basically a Trot who doesn& #39;t like Trotsky.
But he also knows that the mass executions already started well before Stalin.
So he claims that there& #39;s a difference, because Lenin& #39;s henchmen "agonised" over it, while Stalin& #39;s didn& #39;t.
