Change is a relative term here. I’d say a lot has changed :
1. Both countries are heavily deployed now which is costing nearly 8000 Cr per month to India only to maintain this. Chinese figures must be much higher owing to the new infra they had and are building.
2. Both sides.. https://twitter.com/shivaroor/status/1312264821803343872
..lost troops in Galwan clash thus changing the rules of patrolling and engagement in the area.
3. New heights have been occupied by both which means it’s closer to becoming the new defined LAC.
4. It has led to enormous defence related procurement by India which was stalled..
..since long.
5. Tons of Apps being banned in India has led to loss of billions of worth of dollars to China.
6. Trade and commerce is at its worst between two countries, so are the relations. Info wars are at their max
7. International community has been cornered into ..
..taking sides now, especially for common friends like Russia.
8. Not military formations, HQs and supply routes will and are being created leading to massive infrastructure being created.
9. South China Sea, Malacca strait etc will have to be focused on now more by India.
10. Military top brass and MEA level talks to sort out border issues, which never happened earlier is a new and good things.
11. Some might not think of it as a change, but this standoff has helped India recognise its own players siding heavily with China. It’s good to know..
this for multiple reasons.

Any military stand-off is a volatile situation which can spiral out of control any time. To contain it requires enormous efforts militarily and diplomatically. Tons of variables change to maintain status quo. So yes, a lot has changed! Jai Hind.
I forgot to add a very critical point which is one the biggest changes.

12. The heights on Indo China border will be occupied in winters for the first time, making Kashmir and Leh zone one of the most heavily fortified areas in the world with India, Pak and China involved.
