A lot of ppl coming to the defense and being disrespectful to the teachers on the thread..my mom was a teacher for 26 yrs, she would've been the same way if she received an email like this. Ppl attacking a 12th grade English teacher on this thread because they hold their students accountable in emails not just writing assignments..my 12th British lit teacher (who also taught my ap art history) did the same thing. My professors in college cared about grammar too

I understand language and English is always changing..but kids (and adults) should still know basic grammar. My sister literally is going to teach my 11 year old nephew cursive..
