it’s so funny, the slight differences i’ve noticed in wlw relationships compared to mlw relationships.

mlw: men loving women, women loving men

wlw: women loving women

i’ve noticed a large tendency in mlw/wlm relationships (at least ones that my peers are apart of) to distrust their partners when they’re with the opposite sex without their other half present. while in wlw relationships there’s more trust, and an understanding of friendships

i’ve also noticed that mlw/wlm relationships have their partners expecting physical affection, without asking consent or permission, while in wlw relationships, consent is asked for more often than not

in mlw/wlm relationships i’ve noticed partners have a harder time communicating their feelings or thoughts without causing a fight or negative conversation, while in wlw relationships i’ve noticed that communication comes much more naturally

i’ve noticed some wlm/mlw relationships use apps to track their signif and make sure they are were they say they are, showing a large amount of distrust, while in wlw relationships, i’ve never noticed a lover tracking the others whereabouts

of course this thread could be biased due to myself being a lesbian, and could also be biased due to basing my thread off of peers’ relationships
