Not 'respect'. Not 'protect'.
'Celebrate'.

Note 3

Not 'reassignment'.
'Expressions'.
There's plenty in the template that exceeds the Equality Act but nothing that itself breaches the Act, unlike any law firm that tries to enact policies in accordance with it.

Gender expression is jargon. It's not a legal term. The template doesn't define it. It offers examples.
There are no definitive lists but plenty of contradictions in the influential sources that do try to explain gender expressions.

So let's take one example that's out there. Pangender.

Pangender means you identify as all genders, like pansexual means you'll sleep with anyone.
Well, not just anyone. Any sex. We used to call those people bisexual because there are only two sexes but these 'folx' fell for Fausto-Sterling's joke and bizarrely came to believe that sex is a spectrum.

So, anyway, pangender means you identify with the entire spectrum.
And that means - according to this template - you can use any toilet you want, whenever you want. Mens, Womens or Gender Neutral (which is what the disabled usually is).

And guess what, Law Society?

That would be illegal.

Because segregated toilets are allowed and everyone ..
... else is only allowed to use one of them (even if able bodied people do abuse the disabled toilet facilities as matter of routine).

So that would be discrimination.

Illegal.

Trickier than you thought this 'going beyond the law's, eh?
Especially when the law in question is a carefully calibrated balance of competing rights.

I'd go on.

And on and on.

Because theres loads like that with this template, which otherwise has some good stuff. But the point is made.

It's yet another LGBT Committee overreach.
And, speaking for myself, thankgoodness we have in @UKLabour s @MarshadeCordova a Shadow Secretary of State who is bright enough and interested enough to spot an imbalancing over reach when she encounters one.

It makes a welcome change.
