Brit Hume is linking to a post by a radically anti-science fringe group known for pushing bizarre claims that are not supported by (and often completely contradicted by) evidence.

Naturally they are a favorite of the current administration and their enablers over on Fox. https://twitter.com/brithume/status/1312076723119370242
First of all, former HHS Secretary Tom Price is a member. That tells you a lot of what you need to know.
In their “Statement of Principles,” which has since been removed from their website, they argued that *Medicare* is both “evil” and “immoral” and should be struck down.
Besides their well-known denial of the link between HIV and AIDS, and their wacko claims that vaccines are responsible for autism, the AAPS argues that *shaken baby syndrome* is caused by vaccines.

Whoops, spoke to soon. Their “Statement of Principles” where they declare Medicare and Medicaid both “evil” and “immoral” is still available on their site:

If you want to read more about the AAPS’s disdain for evidence-based medicine, hatred of Medicare and Medicaid, promotion of discredited junk science, and whacked-out Ayn Rand-ian world view, here is a good starting point:

In summary: You should never take any sort of medical advice from Brit Hume, especially not during a pandemic, and extra-especially not when his “source” is the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons.
Just bumping this thread because, predictably, folks like Cornyn are running with the AAPS stuff shared by Brit Hume.
