Saw this and my brain immediately went " #BKDK". Deku is the flowershop owner, Baku is the buyer. He's buying them for Monoma because he hates them but still has to work with him. Deku's just kinda surprised.

He makes the bouquet & explains each flower. Baku nods, surprised at how much this flower nerd knows. Baku takes the bouquet.

Fast-forward to the next day. Baku's all smirks. Monoma apparently speaks Flower.

Monoma is OFFENDED. He reads the card & glares at Baku. Baku smirks more. "Don't like my flowers?"
"FUCK YOU TOO"
Monoma is sent home for the day w/o pay. After work Baku rushes to the flower shop, grabs up Deku & kisses him full force on the mouth.

Swept up in his triumphant victory. "Well I guess that's how humans say hello."
Baku blinks. This nerd just made a joke.

The next day, Baku comes in. "How do I aggressively tell someone I like them & want to date them?"

DEKU: Well red roses are the traditional but those are more mature love.
BAKU: no no no, I don't know this person very well, just met them a few days ago.
DEKU: then I suggest a mix of Asters, White Carnations, Gardenias, and Red Tulips.

BAKU: Explain why.
DEKU: Well Asters = Love but also Dainty Love which could mean Beginning of Feelings. White Carnations mean innocence & pure love, which again can translate to new, blossoming love, or a crush.

DEKU: Gardenias mean "Secret Love" & if this person doesn't speak Flower, then it kind of is. And Red Tulips = Declaration of Love. You're actively declaring you like someone. If you use a White Aster it can make the red pop & the bouquet more lovely.

DEKU: It'll really say "hey I like you, please date me" if they know Flower or look up the meaning of each one.

BAKU: I'll take it. How much?

DEKU: For you, I'll make it the same price as last time $20.

BAKU: Sold.

Deku promises Baku he'll have the bouquet by tomorrow since he'll have to order in the Gardenias from the other store location.

The next day, Deku locks up the shop & heads to his car. On the roof is a very familiar bouquet.

Deku's eyes scrunch together. "Did he set them here & forget or something?"
Deku sees a card jutting out that wasn't with the flowers before. He knew he shouldn't peek, it was wrong, but he was ever-so-curious!

Deku reads the card & his eyes widen, red tinting his cheeks to match the tulips.

"TO THE FLOWER NERD WITH STAR-LIKE FRECKLES. U R CUTE. 0XX-XXXX-XXXX
-BAKUGOU KATSUKI"

Deku immediately punches in the number & just sends a single word message: YES.

Deku & Baku start dating. A few years go buy. Deku's locking up the flower shop when he looks inside the car & sees a beautiful bouquet.

Tears fill his eyes. Pink Camellias (Longing For You), Red Chrysanthemums (I Love You), Heliotropes (Eternal love/devotion), Red Roses (Love, I Love You), and Red Salvias (Forever Mine) lined the bouquet.

It was meant to be a Proposal. Deku quickly unlocked his car & plucked the card from inside the bouquet. Three simple words: YES OR NO?
Deku can't help but laugh to himself a little at the cute gesture.

"So... what's the answer?"
Deku turns around & throws his arms around Baku's neck. "Of course I'll marry you."

On the wedding day, Deku looks down at the bouquet & smiles. It's rather lovely.

Forget-me-Nots (True love memories/do not forget me), Red Camellia (You're a Flame in My Heart), Honeysuckle (Bonds of Love), Yarrow (Everlasting Love) & Mytrle (Good luck & love in marriage). A good Wedding Bouquet.

Tossing it into the crowd, Deku walks over kisses his husband as gasps happen around. Whoever caught it will find their soulmate, Deku is sure of it. For, his own soulmate personally picked out that bouquet, knowing how much Flowers meant to him.

And how much meaning Flowers had. And all because Baku wanted to passive-aggressively say FUCK YOU to a coworker.
