So if you're so braindead you think that climate change isn't a contributing factor to climate change, seek aid from a medical professional because you're probably about 15 minutes out from passing away. Harsher winters coupled with dryer, hotter summers is primo for forest fires

But why are there more forest fires and why are they more intense? Lack of wildness management? No. The opposite. Excessive forest management. See, forest fires are a natural occurence, and a necessary part of coniferous ecosystems. Evidenced by cones resisting fires and opening.

Moving on from basic ecology, let's talk about forest management and climate change. Remember Smokey Bear? Well you can thank him for excessive forest management resulting in 0 underbrush burning away and massive fuel deposits in the American west forests.

How does climate change play into this? Well harsh winters kill the trees. Hot and dry summers ignite them. Climate change is a shift to the extremes. Not "it's getting hotter." So when you build up fuel and deny it a natural burn for the better part of 70 years, what happens?

Well when you edge mother nature, her fire nuts become way more volatile. Burning hotter and faster every year, igniting live trees that otherwise would not have burnt. Shocking; I know, that an acrion has a logical conclusion.

I don't really need to touch on the arson myth because the FBI has already expressed their frustration with this misinformation, and has requested the public only provide honest and useful information.

So in short; @SavannahQSavage, spend less time on facebook conspiracy boards and more time at your local library and maybe you might just manage to piece together a coherent thought or argument that doesn't stem from easily debunked garbage and half assed goofy faces.
