BEST SCENE FROM EVERY STAR WARS FILM (excluding lightsaber fights) a thread:

The Phantom Menace: The Pod-Racing scene. I’ve always loved this scene, the way Anakin goes from messing up at the start, to focusing and eventually overtaking everyone and winning. This scene is just cool and fun which is why I love it.

Attack of the Clones: Shmi’s death and the slaughter of the sand people. For me this scene is just so powerful. You really feel Anakin’s pain and heartbreak when he sees the state his mother is in. It’s very emotional and honestly hurts to watch.

ROTS: Anakin and Padme on other sides of Corusant. This scene never fails to give me goosebumps. It is so powerful without a single word being said. We see the pain on Anakin’s face as he decides between Padme and the Jedi. It is so powerful and paired with an amazing score.

A New Hope: Trash Compactor Scene. I just love this scene, it’s so iconic and the on screen chemistry between the characters is amazing. The suspense builds as the walls start to close and you feel genuine relief when the characters make it out. Great scene.

Empire Strikes Back: Luke meets Yoda on Dagobah. I don’t think I need to explain much on why this is an amazing scene. Yoda is just hilarious in the scene and the relationship him and Luke have is amazing to watch. A very iconic part of Star Wars and is so fun to watch.

ROTJ: The ending scene. This scene just fills me with happiness. Watching the crew reunite after winning a huge battle is just amazing to watch. It has an amazing feel good score and we also see Anakin, Obi-Wan and Yoda return as force ghosts. Such a beautiful scene.

The Force Awakens: Han’s death, this scene is powerful. The way you think for a split second that Han has gotten through to his son. Then no, Kylo murders his father and you see the pain that it causes Rey, Chewie and Finn. Very powerful scene.

The Last Jedi: Yoda visits Luke. I love this scene so much. Again Yoda is hilarious and shows us that even after all this time Luke still has a lot to learn. Yoda drops some amazing quotes and overall this scene just is very powerful in my opinion. I love it.

The Rise of Skywalker: Luke finally lifts the X-Wing. This scene is literally perfect. Watching Luke finally lift the X-Wing to help Rey, as Yoda had done for him is amazing story telling. This honestly made me tear up and it’s so beautiful to see Luke support Rey like this.
