I am LOVING Star Wars Squadron
I fly towards a capital ship, maximum power to guns, and lay into it. I cut my throttle to half, veering away at the last second. I transfer power to engines as I speed away.
I just tried Star Wars Squadrons in VR, honestly not expecting much.
It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life.

I was IN that cockpit. A TIE Interceptor careened across my vision. I turned my head and tracked him with my gaze. I kept the nose of my X-wing in my peripheral view, tracking my attitude. My eyes flick between radar and crosshairs as I zero in.
Squadrons was just released today but I know how to play it. Wing commander and X-Wing trained me for this. It& #39;s like riding a bike.
This is clearly a game that will benefit from better headsets than my Quest. It& #39;s immersive but imprecise. Not sure whether I was getting the full 72 frames per second but the controls were a bit floaty and felt delayed. But the mission I just played was freaking brilliant.
