shattered dreams 10/10
this might just be my fav intro to any album ever. the really nice beat progression and sample make it sound really interesting. earls monotone delivery really hits here with the production. it almost feels like hes being drowned out by the beat.
red water 9/10
the beat on this track is fucking insane and i love it.the samples unpredictability along with the effects on earls voice make it sound foreign and really confusing and its an amazing adventure to listen to. earls lyricism shines here and his songwriting is amazing
cold summers 10/10
a short and sweet track, the beat is unpredictable and loud, the samples are amazing, earls song writing is incredible and i LOVE how he rides the beat across the whole song.
nowhere2go 10/10
this track really shows earls progression as a producer and i love it sm. his use of different voices that make up the beat and the booming drums is just so fucking good, his flow is amazing, his song writing is still fantastic. definitely a top 20 earl song
december 24 10/10
this time earls lyricism/song writing shines more than the production and fuck me it shines. i could write an entire essay on every single line in this song and the different implications of them.
ontheway! 11/10
HOLY FUCK THIS SONG. one of the best produced earl tracks ever and earls bars on this track are fucking insane man. he rides the beat so effortlessly too its genuinely crazy. the outro is top 3 moments off the entire album.
the mint 20/10
my fav beat on the entire album apart from riot/azucar. the simplicity of it but the different effects on it make it so effective and earls lyrics here are the best theyll be across the whole album. this song is the reason i called myself brodie lmao
the bends 9.5/10
this is definitely one of the better beats on the album and i love the use of other voices in the beat, i think earls flow is really good here but i think its a tiny bit dragged out which stops it being a 10 but its still incredible
loosie 10/10
this beat is fucking crazy. its a journey on its own. earls lyricism on this track is great he rides the beat really well and there isnt really a flaw to this song
azucar 10000000/10
the best off of the album. the best produced song off the album and arguably the best lyricism across earls entire discography. easily top 3 best songs EVER
eclipse 8.5/10
while this is an amazing track it does feel like its lacking something and is a bit empty. it works really well in the album which is why its such a high score but as a single song on its own idt itd be as good
veins 10/10
what can i say about this song that i havent said already lmaoo. amazing production and the lyrics are really powerful. just a perfect song.
playing possum 10/10
probably my most controversial rating, this is one of my favourites of the album. the production is fucking incredible and the poem by his mother is so powerful and really made me think about what im taking for granted personally.
peanut 10/10
a top 15 earl song. the really abrasive production with really strong effects on the beat and his voice makes what hes saying hit so much harder. the sound of rainfall with a sad riff in the background as he reminisces about his father and his life is incredible
riot! 10000/10
a top 5 earl song easy. the instrumentation on this song is unlike anything earl has ever done before with the modified effects backing up the sampled jazz instruments. some of the best production ive ever heard full stop and it closes off the album so well
thats it! if you made it this far i love you so much and i hope you enjoyed it, i really liked making this and will definitely do more even if my musical knowledge isnt very high.
