Anderson's comments were in response to a question I asked in a press conference last week. I asked specifically about the seniors and 5th-year players and if their focus was on football or not because for an entire month these kids thought their season or maybe career was over.

So when he said, "At least in our program, we don't have an opt-out, it's not an option. If you opt-out you're not with us," he was referring to these kids graduating this year that I asked about, NOT about kids that were concerned about the virus.

Still not a great look for Coach Anderson but I honestly think if the question was about kids with COVID concerns or other matters his answer would have been different.
